Sodium Acetate is a white or non-color crystal. Its density is 1.45,melting point is 58°C. It is deliquescent in wet air, and efflorescent intowhite powder in dry air. When heated to 123°C,it will lose the crystal waterand become sodium acetate without water. It solutes well in water and little inalcohol.  

Product Application

1. Sodium acetate as a seasoning buffer, can ease the bad smell andprevent discoloration, mold has a certain role. Sour agents can also be used asa seasoning sauce, pickled cabbage, mayonnaise, fish cake, sausage, bread,sticky puddings, meat preservatives. Mixed with methyl cellulose, phosphate,used for preservation of sausage, bread, etc. to improve the adhesive.

2. Used for organic synthesis of esterifying agent and photography,medicine, medicine, printing and dyeing, mordant pigment, tanning,electroplating and other many aspects. Can be used to produce a variety ofchemical products, such as acrylic acid, furan acetate and chloroacetic acid.
